about Us

Thomas D. Groover, BS, BSCI, MA, DC, Clinic Director

Tom Groover Mug Shot

Dear Cyclist,

I am relatively new to cycling, and most of what I have learned about the sport from watching the Tour de France on TV, and what I have been shown by my cycling friends and patients like Lennard Zinn.

Like most kids of my era, I rode my bike everywhere and now enjoy riding my old mountain bike on weekends. Last year I had a big breakthrough when a chiropractor — road bike fanatic friend sent me his ‘72 Colnago Sport frame and offered to help me plan the buildup. Cycling will be good exercise for me since I have to avoid hip pounding stress.

When I was 21, I broke my neck and injured my hips in a crash. My left hip was resurfaced in 2007 (inspired by Floyd Landis), and my left hip will probably have to be resurfaced in one or two years. Due to my physical limitations, I will probably never be a competitive cyclist, but can see myself doing some serious riding.

My accidents and injuries have led me to unique insights into the workings of the human body. These insights have helped me create novel ways for helping you achieve better and more comfortable cycling performance, minimize cycling wear and tear on your body, resolve your aches, pains and injuries quickly, and help you achieve your cycling goals. So check out what this future novice, light duty rider has to say about correcting physiological short leg and increasing your cycling performance.

Then check out my programs for optimizing your nerve, muscle and joint performance, for avoiding medication, surgery and long recoveries for sports injuries, and for tweaking your body chemistry for better health and performance.

My greatest satisfaction is seeing my patients get out of pain fast and quickly achieve their goals for better function and performance. I hope by reading this information, you are inspired to take the next step toward pain free, higher performance, lifelong, high quality riding experience by contacting my office for a complementary consultation with me.

Hope to see you soon.

To Your Excellent Performance, Health and Wellness,

Thomas D. Groover, BS, BSCI, MA, DC
