Fibromyalgia Intensive Care Initiated

Initial Fibromyalgia Evaluation and Treatment Visit Five

Pelvic and Upper Cervical Progress Evaluation

Your visit five is a treatment visit, and an evaluation for how you respond to joint correction and manipulative care. The pelvis and upper cervical spinal corrective work you received during visit five is reevaluated. The corrective procedures performed during your pervious appointment on the joints of your pelvis and upper cervical spinal may remain stable, and you could be feeling great relief at this time. It is common for us to witness patients dance and twirl through our front door upon arriving for visit five, after barely being able to walk into our office at visit one. However, more pelvis and upper cervical corrective work may be required before you begin feeling better.

Other Joints Mobilized

Next, we begin mobilizing your lower back, upper back, lower neck, and rib cage to continue restoring function to your body's core joints. Poor joint alignment and abnormal joint function cause mechanical, neurological, muscular, chemical, and other stresses contributing to your Fibromyalgia. Joints mobilized during visit six are assessed for improvements in alignment and function. Your initial response to our joint mobilization will give us an idea of your prognosis and help determine the content and duration of your care plan. Our Fibromyalgia patient's initial spine and rib cage mobility is usually restricted, requiring a systematic series of mobilizations, neuromuscular acupuncture, low level laser light therapy, home corrective exercise, diet, nutrition, lifestyle protocols, and maintenance of spinal corrective care.

Neuromuscular Acupuncture and Laser Light Therapy

Neuromuscular Acupuncture and Low Level Laser Light Therapy are administered at the end of visit six to help with muscle spasm, altered nerve function, inflammation and pain.

Extra Rest

When patients leave the office after visit five, they usually feel extremely relaxed and may require extra sleep that night. You may feel more tired than usual and require more rest. This is a normal part of the healing process and no cause for alarm. As your pain decreases and energy increases, we will ask you to begin light exercises like walking or swimming to increase your circulation, strengthen your body, and improve your mental and emotional state.

Initial Fibromyalgia Evaluation Visit Six

From our view point about visit six, most of our Fibromyalgia patients usually arrive at our office feeling more energized, relaxed and most of them report a considerable amount of pain relief. Your progress continues to grow from the treatment procedures administered during this appointment. The life transforming health knowledge you have gained heightens your appreciation for the benefits you have gained. You are well educated about the cause, severity and complexity of your condition and are experiencing the steps required to resolve your Fibromyalgia. You have read our website, received your Initial Fibromyalgia Evaluation, begun treatment, and the progress you have made so far has been an enlightening education process. Your Holistic Fibromyalgia Treatment Program visit six is dedicated to evaluating and continuing your experience with comprehensive, entire body joint function examinations, mobilizations and corrections, Neuromuscular Acupuncture, and Low Level Laser Light Therapy.

Office Visits Seven Through Eighteen: Treatment

Treatment Visits One Through 12

During these 12 treatment visits, you receive treatments prioritized according to your specific needs. You understand how continuing the improvements in your spinal and extremity joint function is your first priority. Examinations of your upper cervical spine, pelvis, low back, upper back, lower neck, and rib cage are performed each appointment. Corrective procedures and mobilizations are performed as needed during each appointment. Your corrective procedures are usually accompanied by Neuromuscular Acupuncture and Low Level Laser Light Therapy to reduce muscle spasm, altered nerve function and pain.

Extremity Joint Misalignments

If extremity joint misalignments are present, their dysfunction and pain should be alleviated quickly. Our top priority is getting you moving better and lessening the stress burden these misalignments inflict upon your body. To solve each of your extremity joint problems, we perform physical examination, X-rays, treatment, and rehabilitation. Taking care of your extremities requires one to three appointments for each individual or pair of extremities.

Home Corrective Exercise

When your pain and fatigue improves, you will benefit immensely from your specific corrective exercise evaluation, instruction, and home practice. Your individualized corrective exercise program will help keep your joints aligned. Your corrective exercise will also expand your joint range of motion, strength, and function, and increase your mental energy, clarity and outlook.

Initial Intensive Care Completed

Your laboratory tests have all been received, analyzed, functional nutrition, diet, exercise, and lifestyle protocols have been implemented, and necessary support is given as needed as your care progresses.
