I am a water color painter and silversmith and teacher of both. I graduated from Northwestern University where I was a member of the swim team. I took classes at the Chicago Art Institute and the American Academy of Art, lived and studied in Italy and then came to Denver and worked as Chairman of the Art Department at Northglenn High School.
I had designing and making jewelry, painting, and teaching painting and jewelry classes. The day my pain got bad was in September of 2004 when I attended the Gem and Mineral Show here in Denver. I thought I had pulled something in my right leg. I took Ibuprofen and it helped for a few hours, but the severe leg pain came back.
The leg pain keep getting worse, and after several days I went to my family physician. I was told I had tendonitis and started taking Vicodin, but it didn't get better. I went back to the doctor, and he was going to send me to a spinal surgeon. Fortunately, I heard from my sister-in-law about one of Dr. Groover's chiropractic procedures. She got Dr. Groover's name for me from here doctor in San Francisco. I asked my doctor if I could try that first and in said yes.
I started working with Dr. Groover in November of 2004, and started seeing improvement with much less leg pain by the spring of 2005. I owe him my life, my quality of life. I feel wonderful now and I take no pain medication. I have been under Dr. Groover's care for 3 years, and now I am not flat on my back anymore, and I am pain free. I do my exercises everyday. It is much easier to concentrate on my work and the product I turn out is much better quality because I am out of pain.
Everything is possible now. Before I was flat on my back in pain and taking the prescription drugs given to me by my doctor. I am very optimistic and thankful for Dr. Groover's work.
I have told many people to visit Dr. Groover and would recommend him to anyone in pain. My best advice is, don't hesitate to go to Dr. Groover, and don't go near a spinal surgeon.
