I strongly recommend you view this inside look into American agribusiness for health reasons. You will gain inside perspective into our efficient, mechanized, centralized, low cost agricultural system, and the ultimate price paid by us, our farm workers, and our environment. There are many health conditions, unknown to most Americans, directly linked to the quality of our food supply. These conditions range from difficulty maximizing athletic and academic performance, to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.
“Knowledge is power,” and “the truth will set you free” clearly applies to this movie. When you understand the direction our agriculture has taken and the problems it has created, you will develop new preferences and make new choices in your diet, your shopping, and your politics, to better support your health and your life.
